Both ScanGauge-D and ScanGauge-KR work with most 1990 and newer large diesel vehicles that use J1939 (9-pin) or J1708 (6-pin) OBD protocols. This includes Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Mack, Benz, Navistar, Volvo, Cummins, Caterpillar and many more.
ScanGauge-KR is more suitable for professional drivers who make income by the hour or by the KMs to help achieve the maximum amount of profit while driving. It includes a set of additional real-time digital gauges dedicated to showing you your actual profit or loss as it relates to your fuel usage and driving style.
Works with J1939 & J1708 Vehicles
The ScanGauge-D and ScanGauge-KR work with most 1990 and newer large diesel over-the-road vehicles. They are equipped with a unique dual connector cable designed to accommodate both the J1939 protocol with a 9-pin diagnostic port as well as the J1708 protocol with 6-pin diagnostic port.
ScanGauge-D and ScanGauge-KR provide real-time gauges to show you what is going on “under the hood” with more than 15 built-in digital gauges. The gauge screen allows you to select and display 4 gauges at a time, so you can monitor the current operating conditions of your vehicle in real-time.
ScanGauge-D and ScanGauge-KR provide real-time data about your vehicle’s instant and average fuel economy, fuel used, cost of fuel used for each trip, cost per KM, Litres per hour and more!

With five built-in trip computers, the ScanGauge can keep track of everything from fuel cost to distance traveled and everything in between. Data is stored on the ScanGauge and is retained even when the power is disconnected. Each trip computer starts automatically and information is available anytime during the trip.

The ScanGauge can check for Engine Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and if found, can display how many there are and the Trouble Codes themselves. Using the internet or repair manuals, these can be translated to the failed component and repairs can be made.
