HD DIAGNOSTIC SCAN TOOL
Know what your engine is telling you — when it matters most
The ScanGauge-KR can check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and if found, can display how many there are and the Trouble Codes themselves. Using the internet or repair manuals, these can be translated to the failed component and repairs can be made.
Data captured when the Trouble Code was set can be recalled to help troubleshoot the problems (was the temperature hot or cold, speed high or low, etc.). The ScanGauge-KR can be used to clear the trouble codes and data which will turn off the warning light.

'13 Freightliner M2 106

Great Tool!!

GREAT customizable engine monitoring gauge

Better results then I expected!!
By: Bill Hoover on 13 November 2018I was debating whether to buy a different more expensive engine monitor but talking to a number of RV diesel owners was convinced that this would give me the best bang for the buck. Main reason i purchased was to monitor engine and transmission fluid tempature. Suspected that the gauges on my coach were giving me false readings. Hooked up the ScanGauge and within an hour knew that my gauges were off by as much as 20 degrees F. In addition, this gauge gives you instant and average mpg. It helped me to be a better fuel conscious driver. Prior to the installing the gauge, I would run with traffic and averaged 6.0mpg, with the gauge monitoring the instant and average MPG I was able to determine the best fuel enconomy speed was 62 mph. Maintaining that speed my average fuel consumption went up to 7.6MPG. If this continues, and I haven't any reason at this time to think otherwise this gauge will soon pay for itself.

Does what it says
By: Chris A on 13 November 2018I have a CAT C9 and this gauge tells me almost everything I need to know, especially boost. Only issue, though not specifically a flaw in this unit, is that the plugs do not hold themselves together and I had to use a tie strap to keep the unit plugged into the diagnostic port on my RV.

Customer service is OUTSTANDING!
By: Jacimi on 13 November 2018I bought this for my 1998 Holiday Rambler motorhome with Cummins ISB engine and had an issue where the unit would always power off after about 12 seconds. A replacement unit was sent that did the same thing. Then we found the problem was the unit cannot read RPM from my engines computer for some unknown reason and that was causing the unit to shut off. ScanGauge then sent me a CUSTOM programmed unit that ignores the RPM signal and it works GREAT! WOW what service, highly recommend!
