OBD2 SCAN TOOL
Know what your engine is telling you — when it matters most
The ScanGauge 3 can check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and if found, can display how many there are and the Trouble Codes themselves along with the code meaning. You are also able to view pending codes if there are any to catch problems before they become worse. The ScanGauge 3 can scan your vehicle for emissions readiness and let you know what if any tests have not passed before you take your vehicle in for emissions testing.

Don't buy
By: Peter Young on 18 November 2025Had a scanguage 2 for years was a good product but then I upgraded to a 3 big mistake a waste of $450 readings are not anywhere near accurate near impossible to get the 3 to clear codes where the 2 was accurate with the readings and could clear codes first go , my recommendation save your money and buy a 2 .

a very nice tool
By: Petr Baum on 14 October 2025My Mercedes Sprinter’s display provides only limited information — I was missing key data like the ambient temperature and a large speed readout (the speed was shown only in very small numbers). With the ScanGauge 3, I now have four large, easy-to-read gauges. I’ve added displays for current gear and battery voltage as well. The ability to read error codes is a nice bonus — not something I bought it for, but definitely useful to have. Setup was very straightforward and fast.

SET UP SCREENS 2/3 WITH TRIP DATA ETC THAT YOU CAN LOOK AT LATER. More info than I have ever had before. adds to peace of mind.

Good bit of kit but...

A Must-Have for Any Vehicle Enthusiast – Just a Fe
By: Ken on 20 May 2025I’ve been using the ScanGauge 3 for about a month now, and I’m genuinely impressed with its performance and versatility. The real-time data it provides is incredibly detailed and has already helped me monitor and improve my driving habits. From fuel economy to engine diagnostics, it’s packed with features that make it an essential tool for anyone serious about understanding their vehicle. The touchscreen interface is responsive and easy to navigate, and I love how customizable the display is. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the user experience. That said, I do have a couple of minor qualms. First, the lack of mounting options out of the box was a bit disappointing. I had to get creative to find a secure and convenient spot for it in my car. Second, an auto-brightness feature would be a fantastic addition—especially for those of us who drive at varying times of day. Manually adjusting the brightness can be a bit of a hassle. Overall, though, the ScanGauge 3 is a fantastic product that delivers on its promises. With just a couple of small improvements, it would be absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!

Does it all!
By: Dean on 15 January 2025Very happy with my decision to purchase the scan gauge 3. Value for money, tick. Customer service, tick. (Replied to my emails promptly) Build quality, tick. Easy of use, tick. (If you can use a smart phone, you can use this). Very accurate insight into what my vehicle is doing as I drive. There are plenty of other brand gauges that do some of what the ScanGauge 3 does. But after doing my research this product ticked all the boxes and I would happily recommend to anyone.

By: Paul on 30 July 2024Awesome bit of technology to have in the car. Love the fact you can calibrate the fuel tank capacity and have it show you how much you have used/have left. Great when you replace the standard tank with a long range one and the standard fuel gauge cant be recalibrated. Installed in a 2024 Hilux
