If you have any firmware before 3.14....Definately. The ability to add new gauges via the X-Gauge menu is a major new feature.
If you have firmware 3.14 - 3.15 ....Yes. Having certain trip computer readings displayed as a digital gauge is very handy feature that is only available to v3.16 and above.
If you have firmware 3.16 - 3.17....Possibly. If you are having any display issues with the litres to empty gauge, or you want to connect to a vehicle that you previously found to be incompatible using the KWPF OBDII protocol (Mercedes Benz diesels in particular).
We can only upgrade the ScanGaugeII, not the original ScanGauge.
