ScanGauge II compatibility*1 list for Australian Vehicles:
KEY:Works Does Not Work
Notes:
*1 - Compatible functions and gauges depend on vehicle ECU, ie. not all
functions work on all vehicles. See Partial Compatibility.
*2 - In mid 2005 Toyota changed to a compatible OBDII port protocol.
*3 - Including late model DiD versions.
*4 - Connects, BUT only function that works is volt gauge.
*5 - Connects, BUT does not report fuel use or trip functions and some
of the gauges. Unless the recall Factory ECU software update has been
completed. Consult your Jeep dealer for more information.
If your vehicle
is not included in our list it does not mean that it will not work,
just that we have not directly tested the ScanGaugeII or had a customer
report compatibility on your type of vehicle. We suggest you conduct a
google search with keywords of ScanGauge and your vehicle
model and year. Google search results
will usually lead to some online message forums where users have
discussed compatibility with your vehicle.
Partial
Compatibility Some vehicles do not provide all of
the possible information the ScanGaugeII is capable of reporting.
The following list applies to the vehicles that fall within this
category:
About 10% of
vehicles provide Fuel Pressure (FPR).
About 50% of
vehicles provide Manifold-Absolute-Pressure (MAP).
Multiple
displacement engines will report incorrect fuel economy and fuel use
when some of the cylinders are disabled.
